Curriculum
Our elementary curriculum sparks curiosity and builds a strong foundation in reading, writing, math, science, and history—all through the lens of classical education.
Young scholars dive into great stories like My Father’s Dragon, Because of Winn-Dixie, The Hobbit, and Where the Red Fern Grows, explore the natural world, and begin their journey in Latin and logic. With John Adams Academy’s curated classic literature, Writing and Rhetoric, and carefully selected writing resources—including New American Cursive—hands-on learning, character development, and leadership activities prepare them to grow into thoughtful, confident learners ready to take on the world.
Arts
Our elementary scholars are immersed in a vibrant arts program that nurtures creativity and confidence. From beginning band and strings to drums and photography, young artists explore a variety of disciplines.
They also experience the magic of musical theatre, Shakespeare performances, and drama festivals, building skills that inspire self-expression and teamwork.

Before & After School Care
John Adams Academy – El Dorado Hills offers convenient onsite before and after school care designed to support the whole child. Our Foundations program provides a safe, structured space for scholars to receive academic support, engage in recreational activities, and build friendships through fitness, games, and community events.
Our Enrichment classes extend learning beyond the classroom with hands-on experiences that nurture curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Whether it's during the school year, summer, or intersession breaks, scholars explore new interests while developing academically, socially, and emotionally in a joyful, purposeful environment.
